"We first used Worker Bee Drones for weed spraying last year (2023).
We have historically used a combination of helicopter spraying for the steep hard to access areas of our farm as well as spot spraying using our side by side bike for all other areas. In total Worker Bee Drones sprayed approx. 100 acres of our property.
From the initial meeting it was clear that Jes was professional and thorough, he explained the mapping and spraying process very clearly and his follow up and communication was excellent.
When it came to the work, we were again very pleased with the communication, safety, bio security and spraying that was done.
The drone takes longer than the helicopter, but importantly is more accurate and uses less chemicals, so the total cost is approx the same or slightly cheaper - but the key is effectiveness and drone spraying was very effective in the hard to access areas of our property. The drone is also less disruptive for the cows/calves, which is important.
